NEW! Tatting 178 Trees

I am so excited to let you know that I have a new set of machine embroidery Tatting designs!  It has been quite a while :-)

Do you only have a few minutes to stitch?  Then these designs will work great for you!  They work up in less than 10 minutes for a set of Tatted Tree Earrings.  VERY EASY!  These are about 1-1/2 inches tall.  I have them done 2 different ways.  There are 2 earrings per hooping but you could combine several of them into a single 4x4 inch hoop.  One set is done so you can use crystals on them and one set is done plain.  I used regular 40 weight polyester thread for these.  Can be used as earrings, small ornaments or an end for a bookmark.  Tuck one (or more) in a card.

Tatting 8 - Whimsical Flowers

Tatting done in the machine embroidery hoop!  This is easy for you to stitchout and have free-standing tatting.  These are bright and cheery.  These will work great for children's clothes or doll clothing.  Fun for you too!

AND I have an octagon done with the free-standing tatting edge and whimsical initials.

AND I also have bookmarks!

Here is a long distance picture of all the designs in this whimsical set.  There is the octagon done with initials.  Two bookmarks (same bookmark done twice in one hooping) and 3 sections of the free-standing tatting edge that have been stitched together (1 of each size).  You can probably see the sections since I didn't trim away the thread tails.  

These will work great for children's clothing.

Tatting 25 - Mylar Bookmarks

Tatting done with Mylar in the machine embroidery hoop!  These are easy for you to stitchout.  3 are for the 4x4 inch hoops & 3 are for the 5x7 inch hoops.

Add a tassel for a lovely bookmark or place in a card to someone special.



Here are all 6 of the bookmarks done with regular 40 wt. rayon thread and Mylar.

I smaller ones fit a 4x4 inch (100x100 mm) hoop.  The larger ones fit in a 5x7 inch (130x180 mm) hoop size.

I made my tassels.  The red one on the left was done with DMC perle cotton.  The middle one (purple) was done with Wooly Nylon serger thread.  The right one is a serger thread that is variegated gold and block.  That one is a bit hard to see how pretty it is but matches the Mylar sparkle.

I don't know if I would do the Wooly Nylon very often.  It is very soft but it also snags a bit.

Free-standing machine embroidery tatted Message Angel designs done in the machine embroidery hoop!  VERY EASY!

For 4 inch (100x100 mm) hoops and larger

hese designs are very EASY to stitch!  Just stitch on wash away stabilizer, rinse and dry flat.  Add crystals, if desired, to the designs that are made to accommodate them.  These are a combination of free-standing tatting and free-standing lace.  I even have "blank" angels so you can add your own lettering** - both with and without crystals.  These designs are less the 3 inches tall/wide.

You can also make them into bookmarks by adding a pretty tassel.  You can hang these (like I did) or add a tassel to them since the top picot is reinforced.

Tatting 57 - Bride's Garter and Bookmarks

A bride's garter done in machine embroidery tatting!  Plus I have 3 sizes of bookmarks done 2 ways.

For All Hoop Sizes

Completely free-standing tatting designs!  These designs are done so you can add a ribbon to make a bookmark.  Incredibly easy to do!  For the tatting, just stitch and rinse!  That is all there is to do it!
I did these in 3 sizes.  The small size fits a 4x4 inch (100x100 mm) hoop size.  All of them fit a 5x7 inch (130x180 mm hoop.

A closer look at the tatting garter I made.  This is available for all hoop sizes.  I include instructions to help you stitch out a beautiful garter just like I did in this picture.

For this one, I used a 100 wt. (very fine) silk thread.  You can use regular weight (40 wt.) for this too.  I like how delicate it looks.  The satin-covered elastic is 1/2 inch wide.

You can add Mylar to these, which is really fun and easy to do. I added ribbons to a few of mine.
