Tatting 57 - Bride's Garter and Bookmarks

A bride's garter done in machine embroidery tatting!  Plus I have 3 sizes of bookmarks done 2 ways.

For All Hoop Sizes

Completely free-standing tatting designs!  These designs are done so you can add a ribbon to make a bookmark.  Incredibly easy to do!  For the tatting, just stitch and rinse!  That is all there is to do it!
I did these in 3 sizes.  The small size fits a 4x4 inch (100x100 mm) hoop size.  All of them fit a 5x7 inch (130x180 mm hoop.

A closer look at the tatting garter I made.  This is available for all hoop sizes.  I include instructions to help you stitch out a beautiful garter just like I did in this picture.

For this one, I used a 100 wt. (very fine) silk thread.  You can use regular weight (40 wt.) for this too.  I like how delicate it looks.  The satin-covered elastic is 1/2 inch wide.

You can add Mylar to these, which is really fun and easy to do. I added ribbons to a few of mine.

Tatting 126 - Icicle Earrings

Free-standing machine embroidery tatted Icicle Earring designs done in the machine embroidery hoop! VERY EASY!

For 4 inch (100x100 mm) hoops and larger

These designs are VERY EASY to stitch!  Just stitch on wash away stabilizer, rinse and dry flat.  Add crystals, if desired, to the designs that are made to accommodate them.They are about 1-1/2 inches tall.

Tatting 85 - "Little Sister" Angels

Free-standing machine embroidery tatting angels done in the hoop!  I have them done in 6 ways. VERY EASY

For 4x4 inch hoops.

These angels are about 2-3/4 inches tall.  These are the little sisters to the 4-inch Tatting 83 Angels.

These angles are done 6 ways.  One is done without a halo (like her naughty sister), one has a halo and is "plain".  Three different styles of Mylar and one is done with crystals.  All  designs on this page are completely free standing.  

These are free-standing designs.  I used a regular weight (40 wt.) embroidery thread for all designs shown in this set.

Tatting 85 - "Little Sister" Angels

Tatting 82 - Snowflake Garland

Free-standing machine embroidery tatting snowflake garlands done in the hoop!  I have them done in 2 ways. VERY EASY!

For 5x7 inch (130x180 mm) hoops and larger.

Snowflake singles are for 4x4 inch hoops.

These snowflakes are 3 different sizes.  I have them as continuous garlands that can be sewn or glued into your projects, I have them as separate snowflakes and I have a string to use the separate snowflakes as hanging decorations.  All  designs on this page are completely free standing.

The small size of the designs are about 1-1/2 inches tall, the medium size is about 2 inches tall and the large size is about 2-3/4 inches tall.

These are free-standing designs.  I used a regular weight (40 wt.) embroidery thread for all designs shown in this set. I used metallic thread on the Snowflakes below.

Tatting 82 - Snowflake Garland

Tatting 111 - Suncatcher

Free-standing machine embroidery Tatted Suncatcher designs done in the machine embroidery hoop!  These coordinate with the Tatting 103 and Tatting 108 designs. VERY EASY!

For 4x4 inch (100x100 mm) hoops or larger

Completely free-standing Tatted Suncatchers & ties - 5 different designs. 

One is "plain", one done with Mylar, one with lace done with 2 colors & one with a single color with lace.


I used a regular weight (40 wt.) embroidery thread for all designs shown in this set.

I made this fun spinner card with the "plain" Suncatcher.  It might be a little hard for you to see the angles of the card.  I will wind up the invisible string that I attached to the end picot and the edge of the card.  When the card is opened, the Suncatcher will spin around.  These designs can be used many different ways.  You can even use them as a doily.
